Cairngorm is a small brand with limited resources, but they have an amazing product. We needed everything to be ten times more effective to help them go up against the industry’s goliaths. 

After positioning founder Robi Lambie as a leading voice in hospitality during the pandemic, we prepared for a Christmas campaign aimed at bringing light to the season.

We believed a plucky underdog could rival the big brands at a fraction of the cost. Our consumer insight revealed that the specialty coffee sector often feels uninviting and exclusive.

We doubled down on creativity, scripting an ad that showed good coffee is for everyone and that any business, regardless of size, can create impactful Christmas ads. By challenging John Lewis directly, we built a viral campaign that led to Cairngorm Coffee’s biggest month ever.
